After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

After two weeks I feel as if Hypophora is the most effective Rhetorical device. It just gets straight to the point and gives people an answer to a question they may have had which could help their argument in the end.


We did a rhetoric test and a blog post


I applied my knowledge of rhetoric and put it to the test with a test.

 What I enjoyed most about this class was the lectures. I loved how Mr. Rease would take different aspects of the internet and real life to make the lecutre engaging and had different people pitching in on the lecture which had everything you would want in a diverse classroom. The project I found most engaging was the poem poster and I connected the most with the discussion aspect of this course even though I didn't pitch in that much that was the part I felt most connected with. One area where I felt like I needed to improve was staying up to date on my blog posts and studying a little bit more for my tests. I would like to thank you Mr. Rease for a great first semester.
