How would you describe your mind

I would describe my mind as a roller coaster because I'm always thinking of different good and bad things. I think this is a good analogy because roller coasters go up and down and sometime even get derailed. Which eludes to losing train of thought (which I do all the time). We read more Emily Dickinson texts and annotated them I learned how to really decipher a story.

An adventure you'd like to go on

I'd like to go on a trip to Japan. I just thing its very intresting and there's so much culture there its basically a whole new world. I'd want to see mount Fiji and everything. We learned about Emily dickinson and read one of her poems and annotated it. I learned about Emily Dickinson.

Something you will never full understand

Something I will never fully understand is the concept of quantum everything. Not just limited to physics but everything space and time and how they match is so fascinating to me because it takes so long to learn it and people still don't know a whole bunch of details about it. We presented our origin myth posters I learned how to present better for future presentations.

Most creative thing I ever made

The most creative thing I made was a book about a star when I was a little kid. I wrote about how a white dwarf got bullied into being a blue giant. My dad loved it so much that he wanted to publish it but it was lost before i could get to find it again. He still talks about it to this day.  We worked on our narratives. I learned some good writing strategies.

Burning questions

I've always wanted to know how and why mountains exist. I've also wanted to know how lighting isn't more rare. These matter to me because their big natural phenomenons that happen and they can be explained but you can never see it being constructed so it's just so weird to see.  We started on our origin myth project   learned how to write an origin myth

A time I felt completely lost

A time I felt completely lost was when I first came into high school. It was just such a big school and hard to navigate. So I felt lost for the first week but I eventually adapted to the new environment. Now that I'm into my junior year it almost feels like there's nothing new about the first day of school at all it's just another year to be honest. We presented our The Jealous Father presentations to the class I learned about the theme and lessons in The Jealous Father story

How i've adapted to this course

I've adapted to this course quite well If I say so myself. One strength I will face as I progress in this course is that I work with people well so when we do group work it's not an issue. One challage I will face in this class is remembering to do my blog posts. I just feel like I will forget a couple times out of the year but it shouldn't be too much of a problem for me, especially because I can do it at the end of the week. We took a test, finished our PowerPoints, and we did a blog post. I learned about how people wrote about the robins origin.

A time when jealousy affected a relationship you experienced

So my friend had a girlfriend that he loved (I guess) and I followed her on Instagram before then and he didn't like that when he found out. So he started getting angry at his girl and me for some reason. So I was kinda just messing with him because it was a really dumb situation but he ended up blocking me on Instagram. I saw him in school gave him dap but I guess he had to cool off or something I don't know. We went in random groups and started a project about a story. I learned about old societal norms.

One place in my life that carries a story

One place in my life that carries a story is my grandmas house. I go there almost every year for Thanksgiving and I get to hangout with my cousins and my aunts and uncles. It's special because its been a family tradition for as long as I have been born so it's just dear to my heart and it almost feels empty if I don't go at least once a year. Summary: We read about the Navajo people myth with annnotations. and answered some questions Reflection: I learned about how the Navajo people society came about.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature

Prompt response: One time I felt connected to nature was my cub scouts camping trip to the blue ridge mountains. This was the trip that was supposed to turn you from a cub scout to a boy scout. I ended up quitting it for football but that's a story for another day. This trip I had to wake up at 6am drive with a random cub mate and make my tent and everything when I got up there. I didn't have a phone back them so it was really peaceful and nice to hang out with my friend while being in the fall cold. We even went on a hike to a peak too and it just kept getting colder. I miss it We looked at the intro of native american literature and we reviewed vocabulary words. I learned what kinship meant.
