As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

What I enjoyed most about this class was the lectures. I loved how Mr. Rease would take different aspects of the internet and real life to make the lecutre engaging and had different people pitching in on the lecture which had everything you would want in a diverse classroom. The project I found most engaging was the poem poster and I connected the most with the discussion aspect of this course even though I didn't pitch in that much that was the part I felt most connected with. One area where I felt like I needed to improve was staying up to date on my blog posts and studying a little bit more for my tests. I would like to thank you Mr. Rease for a great first semester.

Many holidays center around traditions. Describe one tradition that is important to you or your family and explain why it still matters (or why it no longer does).

For thanksgiving my family always gets together for and goes to my grandma's house. But now the tradition has changed to my house. We always have a good time together playing games and watching shows. We caught up on work today I caught up on my blog posts.

How have the holidays changed as you have grown older? Compare your experiences of the holidays during childhood with how you experience them now, focusing on shifts in perspective, responsibilities, or emotional meaning.

When I was younger, Christmas was magical, I believed in Santa, gifts were much more valuable in the kid mind, everything just felt happy as a child. Now as I got older it still feels magical but now I don't believe in Santa and it kind of got the magic killed for the holidays We did vocabulary words practice I learned more new vocabulary words.

Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

Something I've outgrown but still miss is recess. I just miss having somewhere to group up with my friends after lunch, it was an amazing experience and I do miss it. We did the vocabulary quiz and analyzed another poem I learned about more Langston Hughes poems.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

Lately, I haven't been able to stop thinking about college and the applying process and the experience with college . I feel like I should have been more locked in my first two years of high school but im on a comeback so I'm not really worried, i don't have a dream school anyways. (i clicked the search thing on accident) We went with our counselors to schedule our new classes for next school year. I found out which classes i am taking for senior year.

Post the picture of your cultural identity mask onto your blog. Write a reflection about the creation process of the mask or presenting it to the class.

I feel like i did a pretty good job on my presentation. I could have went in more detail but i got a little bit nervous. We presented our cultural identity masks. I learned more about my classmates that i didnt know before.

Write about the best gift you have received.

The best gift i ever received was my pc. I love my pc because you can do so much on it and it helps with a lot of work and is fast. We learned new vocabulary words in preparation for the quiz. I studied for the vocab quiz and ready to take it.
