Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks and spending time with family over a nice dinner. Write about your most unforgettable meal.

My most unfogettable meal was thanksgiving in 2019. I had Mac and cheese and it was so amazing I just remember the creamyness and tastiness/savoryness of the pasta dish. We did a quiz on "The Life you Save May be Your Own" as a group. I learned many perspectives on how my group mates think.

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

One time I had to do some notes in AP government but i felt like procrastinating before doing them so I didn't do them until the block day. Then i felt like i needed to do them for some odd reason so i did them in SAIL. When I went in the class he asked us to take them out and he asked us what we wrote for some word defenition. He asked me first from my freshly done notes. We finished the story "The Life you Save May be Your Own" and started to finish the questions I learned that the Tramp didn't have good intentions after all and he dumped the daughter after I had high hopes for him.

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

One time I was near my house and there was a homeless veteran on the street wanting money. My dad let down the door and gave him 5 dollars. I felt hospitality but I felt so bad that this economy is so messed up especially for people who actually served this country they get no help or money at all. Today we read the short story "The Life you Save May be Your Own" and answered some questions about the story. I learned how to answer questions using the question to formulate your answer.

Write about what you are thankful for

I am very thankful for my family being healthy and we have a strong connection together.  I realize a lot of families don't have that. Which is why I am so thankful my parents created this strong family culture. Today we did vocabulary I learned many new words and how to use them in a sentence.

Thinking about “The Rockpile,” which parent or guardian in your life has been the strictest when it comes to discipline? Explain how their approach to discipline has influenced you or shaped your behavior.

My dad has been the strictest when it came to discepline. His approach to discepline shaped me as a man because he would always give me physical and mental disceplinary actions. Which helped me become a better man because he would always tell me a life lesson after punishment so I learn from my mistakes and become a better man. We talked more about the rockpile today and worked on the powerpoint I learned more about the rockpile today and learned more vocabulary.

Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

I was on stone mountain and I just noticed the trees and how the clouds influence the shadows on them. And I also noticed how high mountains are and how they allow you to see everything.  We read more Robert frost poems and received a one pager I learned how to make a one pager.
